Suspend belief, use your imagination and follow me on a creative walk through Zurich where I transformed the urban landscape into designs and montages.
All these photographs were taken with my Huawei P10 mobile phone. As I encounter the scenes that intrigued me, I often compose the original shot anticipating the manipulation of the subjects into graphic results. I have learned to recognize what will work but the element of surprise is always there once I post process the pictures.
Many things drift through my mind as I shoot or Photoshop these images such as reflections, wood cut effect, land art, mandalas, mirror montages to name a few.
From strong patterns, to soft water colour effects, the process never stops fascinating me as I re-kindle my Graphic Art background with pleasure.
It is a wonderful therapy for which I am extremely grateful in this peculiar time of pandemic and lockdown.
I am never bored and always find solace in my photography.
